FC Radio, the new podcast about football in Greece The new initiative of Athens Kallithea FC

In just a few seasons, Athens Kallithea FC has emerged as one of the freshest realities in the European football scene, with extremely well-studied and elegant Kappa jerseys and cutting-edge communication. Now, a monthly radio program and podcast about football on the pitch, fan culture in the stands, and various forms of artistic and creative expression within and around the game are also coming, along with musical selections ranging from rock, soul, funk, hip-hop, and jazz. It will be called FC Radio and will be available through Stegi Radio, the international online radio in English of Onassis Stegi, the vibrant home of contemporary culture of the Onassis Foundation that broadcasts 24 hours a day from Athens with a rich roster of artists and hosts. The idea comes from Ted Philipakos, creator of the Venezia FC project and now president of Athens Kallithea.

In the pilot episode of FC Radio, Philipakos stays close to home, talking with his brother and vice president of Athens Kallithea FC Peter Philipakos about the launch of AKFC as a "do-it-yourself" enterprise and his long-time collaborator Sonya Kondratenko (Venezia FC, Athens Kallithea FC) about her evolution as a creative in the football space. Philipakos and Kondratenko will be regular collaborators, along with other international guests who will join the show. FC Radio will air on the third Friday of every month at 6:00 pm Athens time, and episodes will be archived on the Stegi Radio website the following Tuesday. The first season will run until June 2025.
