Community and inclusion are two cornerstone principles of St. Ambroeus FC, the Milan-based club composed of refugees and asylum seekers. Founded in 2018 to promote sports as a vehicle for social cohesion, the team will be honored on December 7th at Teatro dal Verme with the prestigious Ambrogino d'Oro. St. Ambroeus is recognized for its invaluable work in fostering social integration—a club that has made football accessible to everyone since its inception. Over six years, the organization has welcomed 520 players from all over the world, creating a mosaic of cultures united by football as a common language that breaks down barriers. Led by an entirely volunteer coaching staff, the club now fields four teams: three men's teams and one women's team. Two participate in senior leagues (FIGC Third Division and CSI Open A), one competes in the FIGC provincial under-19 league, and the women's team plays in the CSI Open B seven-a-side league.

Demonstrating a period of growth and recognition, St. Ambroeus FC has caught the attention of a historic brand like Lyle & Scott, which designed the team’s new kits for the current season. The launch was celebrated with two events: one at the nss headquarters and another organized by nss sports. During the event's talk, President Jonathan Misrachi emphasized how the club's uniqueness was highlighted by Lyle & Scott, which created three sophisticated kits inspired by the past, when bold patterns and vibrant colors dominated football fields. In an evening blending archival pieces and new kits, with the lively participation of the nss sports community, St. Ambroeus FC now looks forward to a historic moment: receiving the Attestato di Civica Benemerenza, the highest civic recognition from the Municipality, in one of Milan's iconic locations.
