adidas' golden era continues with the Terrace Icon Collection
The tracksuit of the moment made its debut at the Allianz Stadium
January 30th, 2025
The last matchday of the Champions League in its new 36-team format was chosen as the ideal moment to launch the Terrace Icon Collection, the latest apparel collection by adidas, featuring, once again, the iconic Trefoil logo. Stealing the spotlight in a collection made up of trackpants, t-shirts, and Gazelle sneakers is, once again, the zip jacket. As the name suggests, the collection is inspired by the '80s aesthetic of terrace culture. While the Terrace Icon Collection pack will soon be revealed by other top-tier adidas clubs (today Bayern Munich's version was released), Juventus has been the only team (and the first) to wear it so far. The occasion was meticulously planned, with the team coached by Thiago Motta wearing the third kit with the Trefoil in their match against Benfica, perfectly paired with the tracksuit in midnight blue with gold details.
The jacket was also worn by Juventus as an anthem jacket in last night's match, serving as further proof of how every year clubs create more tracksuits to wear during pre-match moments, as they’ve become one of the most sought-after items in the market. Special mention to adidas, which dedicates significant attention to this type of garment: Juventus has released several this year, all featuring the Trefoil logo of the Three Stripes, which, since the new third kits of top clubs were launched, has started using this logo everywhere. For example, within Juventus' context, on the Originals jacket, also released for all Tier 1 teams; but also on the Originals Legend Ink collection.
