Today, the official announcement has been made that Louis Vuitton and Formula 1 will be linked by a ten-year contract. The French maison becomes the official partner of Formula 1, thus expanding the horizons of a significant territorial expansion for the premier motorsport category. Indeed, this is a moment of incredible popularity, cultural relevance, and enthusiasm for Formula 1, which continues to strengthen as a bridge between global sport and entertainment. Staying true to its travel tradition, Louis Vuitton has continued to develop designs related to the automotive world. In the 1990s, it also organized its own rally, initially known as Louis Vuitton Runs, later renamed Louis Vuitton Classic Grand Prix d'Élégance, which took place annually until 2006. The maison has supported motorsport competitions and awards, carrying forward a legacy that celebrates the strong link between craftsmanship and engineering.

This is why the partnership includes new Trophy Trunks that will be decorated with the iconic V, in a special color combination for each race, contrasting with the traditional brown background. In this year of change, Louis Vuitton will be a constant presence at all venues, with trackside signage, a first for the maison at a sporting event. The Trophy Trunk will be presented before the race and later displayed on the podium to celebrate the incredible achievement of the winner.
The upcoming Formula 1 season will begin on March 14 with the Bahrain Grand Prix, followed by the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 16, where Louis Vuitton will also be the Title Partner of the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025.
