adidas and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team today unveiled their first apparel line, marking the beginning of a new and exciting era for motorsport. Inspired by shared values of performance and excellence, the new collection, dedicated to both the team and fans, introduces an innovative aesthetic in the paddock, blending the needs of the sport with contemporary style. With this collection, adidas brings its 75 years of experience and attention to the needs of athletes in the motorsport world. Featuring a reinterpretation of sports aesthetics, the team’s new apparel, designed with specific cuts and performance technologies, offers maximum support to each team member during race weekends and a distinctive visual identity in the black, white, and aqua green colors of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team.
Combining lifestyle aesthetics with elevated performance, the collection offers a complete range of apparel, footwear, and accessories for one of the most followed teams in motorsport. The range is complemented by a special edition of performance and lifestyle sneakers. Iconic running models like Ultraboost 5 and Supernova ensure comfort and high performance in the paddock, while other popular adidas sneakers allow fans to support the team in everyday life. Finally, technical and lifestyle caps designed to unite fans and make them feel part of the team complete the collection.
The debut of the oversized Three Stripes
The collection also introduces an important aesthetic novelty, the oversized Three Stripes by adidas, a first for the German company. These will appear on the National team kits for the 2026 North American World Cup. The oversized Three Stripes appear exclusively on the jacket in the collection in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS, and not on the t-shirts. The German company seems to want to introduce this change gradually or simply keep both versions for different occasions or garments.
