The new Travis Scott merch reminds us that in WWE, everything is real
La Flame's wrestling era was what we deserved
March 10th, 2025
Travis Scott has released the first merchandise in collaboration with the WWE: it includes only a t-shirt with the phrase Wrestling is Real, available exclusively on Cactus Jack's website, and it gives hope to see more collaboration pieces between the two parties in the coming months. The most interesting part is on the back of the t-shirt, where the image of Travis Scott, John Cena, and The Rock is depicted, taken during the recent episode of Raw, in which John Cena's epic heel turn against Cody Rhodes occurred. The same photo was then turned into a collectible card by Topps just a few days ago, featuring the signatures of the trio. In short, one of the most iconic images in WWE and wrestling history. Despite being taken only a few days ago and circulating around the web very quickly, the evocative power of that photo is destined to remain etched in the history of this sport, marking a turning point for the new WWE, a new Golden Age that is about to truly begin.
2024 was a turning point for WWE, starting with streaming available on Netflix, to the insights made possible thanks to the numerous celebrities who have expressed their fascination with the federation, starting with Travis Scott and continuing with the statements from Bad Bunny, as we discussed in this article. 2025 is shaping up to be another crucial year, with the Houston artist ready to take a prominent place in the WWE's and global sports' imagination: he even created the new theme song for Raw, 4x4, debuting to the sound of this song in his first WWE appearance of the year on January 6th.
Celebrities have always been a driving force that WWE has relied on; while this tradition had somewhat faded, recent events show how celebrity culture is an indispensable element for the world of wrestling, and that the wrestling world is equally indispensable for celebrities and their entertainment.
