Kappa unveils its new streetwear brand
It’s called Kappa Authentic, and it combines football and lifestyle
March 25th, 2025
Kappa has launched its new streetwear brand: it is called Kappa Authentic and presents itself as a fashion brand that perfectly blends Kappa’s iconic football heritage with the most contemporary streetwear trends. It’s a step that closes a circle: in recent years, Kappa has tried to combine fashion and football, succeeding brilliantly, with projects such as those with Venezia, Athens Kallithea, Fiorentina, Triestina, Versailles, and many others. Through genuine fashion campaigns, the Italian company has rightly earned its place as one of the most authoritative players in this field, also thanks to the involvement of figures such as Ted Philipakos, currently president and creative director of Athens Kallithea, former CBO of Venezia, and creative director of the first Kappa Authentic campaign.
A central part of future Kappa Authentic collections will be the Banda line, characterized by the historic Omini logo pattern, which brings back the aesthetic of the Eighties and Nineties. The brand’s first SS25 collection - an initial offering that will expand in subsequent seasons - features a Banda set in white, orange, and green, a color combination that recalls the revolutionary work done by Kappa with Venezia FC. The rest of the collection is more modern and includes t-shirts, hoodies, knitwear, football shirts, and other items and accessories.
