All the official posters of the 2026 World Cup
There are 16 of them, just like the host cities
April 22nd, 2025
The countdown to the 2026 World Cup in North America has officially begun, and what better way to kick it off than with the launch of the series of official host city posters for the FIFA World Cup 26. The posters highlight the unique cultural and artistic spirit of the 16 host cities, while also celebrating unity, diversity, and the passion for the world’s most beloved sport.
The FIFA World Cup 26, the first to be hosted by three countries — Canada, Mexico, and the United States — promises to be a historic event: the largest World Cup ever, with 48 teams across 16 cities. The 16 posters serve as visual representations of each city's shared love for football, featuring local iconography ranging from cowboys, to lobsters, and even an astronaut — naturally, for Houston.
On FIFA's official website, you can find the names of the artists behind the posters: from Thieb Delaporte-Richard, 3D artist and former Apple art director who created the poster for Los Angeles, to Ruben Robierb, an installation artist responsible for the one representing Miami. A true collection of artworks that makes history, representing the first official set of city-specific posters created for a World Cup.
FIFA has chosen to revive a tradition typically associated with the Olympic Games — where usually only one official poster is made per edition — and take it to a new level: here, there are 16, one for each host city. And at this point, we can only expect the unveiling of more than one mascot — maybe even one for every host city.
