adidas and the environmental protection
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich's new kits realized in collaboration with Parley for the Oceans
November 7th, 2016
If we must bet our chips on the next adidas’ slogan, we would say “go green or go home”. That’s because in the past few years the eco-friendly and environmental policies have become the standard also for big companies like the three stripes. Both for image and true interest reasons.
Whatever the motivations are, we can already enjoy the results because adidas has just launched its partnership with Parley for the Oceans, in order to raise awareness on oceans' pollution. The german brand has just made two special kits for its biggest teams, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, which will be worn in this month. Both have a stunning minimal and stylish look and they’re completely made with recycled plastic waste.
Bravo to adidas, not only for the noble reasons behind this kits but also because they are truly beautiful. With crystal white for Real Madrid and true red for Bayern Munich colours, they made the player so stylish that we can only hope to see them wearing those kits simultaneously, perhaps in Champions League’s final.
adidas also launched the UltraBOOST Uncaged Parley, 7,000 pairs of running shoes completely made by oceans’ plastic waste. Just like the two football kits, they look just stunning and we truly hope adidas will pursue this partnership with Parley. If that’s the beginning, we can’t wait to discover the remainder.
