In the past two years, we watched the consolidation of the virtual reality, which can provide a complete immersion into playful and multimedia activities, but at the same time it's still too much a market niche.
This year, history could change because of the partnership between NBA and NextVR. Every NBA League Pass and Samsung Gear VR headset holder will be able to watch an NBA game with virtual reality every week.
NFL is also reaching an agreement with the same company and it's ready to stream games highlights in VR. Many more leagues are doing the same and this means only one thing. Next year could really be the year of virtual reality.
