The SS Lazio jersey for the 120th birthday
Worn against Napoli, it's inspired by the glorious kits adopted by the Biancocelesti at the end of the 90s
January 13th, 2020
Saturday afternoon's game against Napoli was the moment to show off the celebratory shirt for the 120 years, made exactly on January 9th. Already widely announced in the days before the game and officially unveiled only a few hours after the kick-off, the jersey made by Macron is clearly inspired by the kits worn by the Biancocelesti at the end of the 90s, those with the dark horizontal band on the chest height which have become unforgettable in the history of the Roman club.
It's the shirt sponsored by PUMA and worn by great champions such as Christian Vieri, Marcelo Salas, Pavel Nedved, Alessandro Nesta, Sinisa Mihajlovic, Diego Simeone and also by the current coach Simone Inzaghi, remastered in a very faithful way with the addition of some particular details such as the personalized badge and the words 'Noi l'amiamo e per lei combattiamo' ('We love her and fight for her') inside the collar. At the center of the horizontal strip is the logo of the Italian Cup won last May.
