Premier League to introduce sponsorship badges on sleeves
The new deals could be worth up to 3m pounds per season

It’s now official: from the next year Premier League clubs will be allowed to insert sponsor badges on sleeves. It’s not the first time, as Barcelona has on the left sleeve the badge from appliances company Beko.
Other than this case, is not a common use. For this reason, the births league decided to anticipate everyone else and regulate this kind of sponsorship. Premier League has accepted the size and condition of the logo, that will be placed on the arm, substituting Premier’s badge, that now is on both sleeves.
Of course, the sponsorship is not mandatory, but surely it will be profitable. An analysis made by SportsPro - which interviewed the CEO of Zonale Sport Beadle - underlined how, from some independent searches, the esteemed average value of this kind of sponsorship will be around 3m pounds per season, the 20% of the average contract for a main sponsor. Calcio Finanza listed the incomes of every Premier League teams to underlined how the sums will vary from Manchester United to Burnley.
Maybe we will se this kind of newness also in Serie A to increase the incomes of Italian clubs that, excluding Juventus, aren’t so good.
