Memes are, for their own nature, something fast to burn, ready to go viral but, in the same way, ready to be forgot or, even worse, to change their meaning. It is what happened with Pepe The Frog, which became a symbol of the Trumpist Alt-Right.
One of the most famous memes of some month ago was the Crying Jordan. It came straight outta a facial expression of MJ, and it started to symbolize a L-situation. When your team got a last minute L, the Crying Jordan will feature on its logo.
Yesterday, a Twitter user named Brian Havrilla, tried to launch again the meme. And he did it calling his softball team “Crying Jordan” and printing the meme on the team kits. A way to exorcise the bad luck. Waiting for the commercialization of the merch, we got a new softball favorite team.
