A whole different story

Last night, everything that the European football has been waiting for the past two weeks actually happened, furnishing the table for a Champions League finals that already smells like legend. Cholo Simeone and his Atletico Madrid didn't succeed to return the favor to the hated rival Real Madrid, performing a comeback from the 0-3 loss suffered at the Santiago Bernabeu. Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo, and all the other Galacticos will reach Juventus in the final that will be played on Saturday, June 3rd at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.

The Night of the Stars that will happen on Britain sole will be, for many Juventus supporters, a big flashback, with the hope that the result won't be the same as that night in 1998. In that year, in fact, Marcello Lippi's Vecchia Signora played at the Amsterdam ArenA against Real Madrid itself. Unfortunately for Juventus fans, that night in the land of tulips ended in the worst way possible, as Juve wasn't able to react to Real Madrid's goal, scored in the second half by Predrag Mijatov.
