On December 8th one of the most iconic Jordan ever will be released
December 7th, 2018
On December 8th the Jordan XI 'Concord' will be released, designed and designed by Tinker Hatfield with Jordan involved in the project. A shoe so elegant that everyone wanted to wear it, not just those who play basketball. We take the opportunity to tell you the story of one of the most iconic Jordan ever.
On 6 October 1993 in a crowded press conference, Michael Jordan announced his decision to leave basketball:
I lost every motivation. In the game of basketball I have nothing left to prove: it's the best time for me to stop. I won everything that could be won. Return? Perhaps, but now I think about my family
MJ decided he would play baseball, the favorite game of his father James brutally murdered a short time ago. But it was not that simple. Since the property of the Chicago Bulls is the same as the White Sox, it was "parked" in a minors team in Birmingham, Alabama, the Barons.
I want to show that I can also excel in another discipline
Sport Illustrated also dedicated a cover "Bag it, Michael", this is the title. That perfectly expresses what everyone thought, Michael could not play baseball, he had to go back where it's right to stand, on a basketball court.
And that's what happened. On March 18th, 1995 at 11.40 am a statement was issued: "Michael Jordan informed the Bulls that he had interrupted his voluntary 17-month retreat, and will debut in Indianapolis against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday."
Michael returned in 1995, dressing not the classic 23, retired two years earlier, but 45. Yes, because he plays with 45! The choice is due (in addition to being the number of the brother) to the fact that he wanted his father had seen his last game with 23.
In this release the shoes have just the detail of the 45 in the back, to underline a sort of new beginning (even if it did not resist and returned to 23 in the race 2 against the Orlando Magic and the Bulls were forced to pay $ 100,000 fine because that shirt was not a roster and 5000 because the shoes were not the same color with the rest of the uniform) that led Michael to win a MVP title, that of MVP of the All Star Game, MVP of the Finals and his fourth ring.
Jordan XI was also the co-star of one of the most incredible films of all time to which every basketball fan is linked in a visceral way, Space Jam. Michael wears them to defeat the evil Monstars and save his teammates, the Looney Toons from a sad fate, even with the fundamental help of a great Bill Murray.
Save the date: December 8, 2018, Jordan XI 'Concord'. Don't let her get away!
