Barcelona's jersey for Chinese new year celebration

Barcelona and Real Madrid will face tonight for the first of three Clásico that will take place in less than a month. In an occasion with the Chinese New Year celebrations, which began yesterday and will finish in two weeks, the Blaugrana will be on the field this evening for the first time in their history with the names of the players written in Chinese characters. The initiative this week was also followed by other European clubs, Valencia, for example, just in the match of the Nou Camp against Barcelona, wore jerseys dedicated to the Chinese festivity. Auxerre, Inter, and PSG also joined the initiative, which, unlike the Spanish teams, completely replaced the names of the players. For reasons of rules tonight the shirt of Messi, Coutinho, Suárez, and friends will keep the classic names, which will only be flanked by the Chinese version, just above the number.

The initiative was followed by a video, in which female players appear as well as Piqué, ter Stegen, Umtiti and Messi, who at the end wishes a happy new year to the Chinese fans, giving him an appointment this summer for the preparation tour.
