The temples of world football at any latitude and longitude
June 8th, 2020
After drawing up the 50 most legendary jerseys in the history of football, a new ranking signed by France Football arrives. This time at the center of attention of the French magazine are the stadiums, ordered by impact and by warmth towards the home team. Some are certainly impossible to remove from the list, while others will surprise considering the geographical position and the level of football expressed. Of these 30 stadiums, only 2 are Italian. The greatest heat comes from South America, where futbol is in all respects a religion.
30-21
The first 10 arenas are really at the most disparate latitudes and in this first pat also our Olympic Stadium in Rome falls, for 30 years now the scene of one of the most engaging Capitoline derby in the world. PSG is also at the bottom of the list, although Parisian cheering has never been considered so warm. Instead, African fans are surprised!
20-11
From Turkey to North Africa, passing through a local stop and continuing to Greece and Spain, where we find two real giants. The stage at San Paolo is mandatory, calculating that, in terms of generated decibels, we are perhaps talking about the first stage in Italy. The scream during the official Champions League anthem also caught the French.
10-1
The top 10 of football times does not reveal any particular surprises. These are stages in which the public plays a fundamental role and where the home team's victory rates are very high. From Maracana to Marakana the pace is shorter than you can imagine, while there is a real fil rouge that unites the red of the Greek fans' smoke bombs with the scarves waved on the notes of "You'll never walk alone".
