The new KITH ft. Nike x New York Knicks collection

When Ronnie Fieg announced via social media that he had collaborated with the New York Knicks for the creation of the City Edition jersey, the designer and owner of KITH added that new information on the development of a more articulated capsule would soon arrive. The wait did not last long and the KITH ft.Nike x NY Knicks collection was officially launched. A 16-item collection that celebrates the culture, colors and music of the "city that never sleeps", as the City Edition of the blue-orange franchise also says.

RJ Barrett's video demonstrating that he plays for a "city that never sleeps" is followed by the shooting organized by the New York brand at Madison Square Garden with Dipset, the Harlem group made up of Juelz Santana, Cam'Ron and Jim Jones. The three exponents of the NYC hip hop scene shot wearing hoodies, beanies, overalls all characterized by the repeated and very visible presence of the swoosh.

The real highlight of the collection, however, are the Air Force 1 Low “NYC” inspired by the NBA team. Equipped with the same swoosh applied to the AF1 Taiwan, the shoe has the side logo colored with a gradient of colors: from blue to orange, just like the colors of the Knicks. The upper is completely white and is made of textured leather with asymmetrical TPU Swoosh logos. On the heel, on the other hand, we find the co-branding logo, with KITH replacing Nike above the typical "Air" writing of the model. On the other hand, the choice for the tongue is different, where there is the KITH logo shaded with the colors of the Knicks and under the written in full "Air Force 1". A "NYC" on the back and a translucent outsole conclude it all.
