Nike continues its race towards zero emissions and zero waste production goals in the production process and launches, as the performance shoe of the Move to Zero project, the new Cosmic Unity made for 25% with recycled products. The eco-sustainable strategies of the Swoosh have not affected the aesthetics of the shoe and Ross Klein, Senior Creative Director of Nike's Footwear Performance division, has inserted the Zoom Air Strobel Unit that extends over the entire length of the shoe to improve reactivity. The circular design takes up successful models of the early millennium and at the same time improves the sustainable component, involving players ever closer to such a sensitive theme.
The Nike Cosmic Unity - which will be released in 3 different colorways - will be on the market from February 26 in the Green Glow version, while for the Amalgam and Space Hippie it will be necessary to wait for March 7 and 12 respectively. In fact, the new shoes of the Beaverton company have already debuted at the feet of an NBA star: Anthony Davis. The Lakers player, in fact, used a total black version both on the parquet of the UCLA Health Training Center in El Seguendo during the mini training camp of the reigning champions and on the parquet of the Staples Center last 12 December, on the occasion of the first yellow-purple pre-season commitment.
"We asked ourselves a question that is guiding our process into the future: Can a product that makes the world better also make an athlete better? We wanted to create a synergy between making the world better by what we do, but also leave an impact for athletes so that they can perform at a higher level" said Ross Klein.
