The new Gabon kits by Kappa
Three jerseys designed to highlight the history and tradition of the national team ahead of the next African Cup of Nations.
December 10th, 2021
A few weeks before the start of the African Cup of Nations, which will take place from 9 January to 6 February 2022, the Gabonese national team and Kappa have unveiled the new three jerseys that the Panthers will wear throughout the competition. Three jerseys designed specifically for the African national team and accompanied by the beautiful shooting of Pete Martin that combine the DNA of the brand, elegance and technology, but also the history and identity of the Gabonese selection. As with the clubs, the national team will wear the KOMBAT™ PRO 2022 jersey, with Kombat Pro System technology, a trademark of the Italian brand and synonymous with an ultra-resistant, elastic and breathable material.
The home jersey is characterised by yellow, the traditional colour of the Gabonese national team, while on the front in tone on tone there is the shadow of the panther, symbol of the country and of the selection. The panther is the symbol on which the first jersey is based, present not only on the front and in the logo but also on the sleeves. The Away jersey is much simpler, mostly white with contrasting yellow sleeves. The third is the most unusual one, a nod to the Gabonese flag, also present in stylised form on the front, which symbolises the forest, the sun and the sea. Three unique jerseys that once again attest to the great work done by Kappa this season, who with their designs, templates and colours have been able to monopolise the market from clubs to national teams.
