Bayern München's new Giphy channel is the new social football frontier

Welcome to 2016 football. If you didn’t noticed, our beloved football is changing and we recently had the perfect demonstration of that. We’re talking about the commercial partnership between Carletto Ancelotti’s Bayern Munich and web portal Giphy, which will provide a personal channel for the German team on its website. And even if the deals with the sport brands are far from over - did someone say Chelsea? - it's meaningful that a European top club like Bayern decides to invest so concretely on its web image.

A really brilliant partnership, which will return a more human and funny image of Robben and his teammates. Because Bayern Munich is many things but a fascinating and beloved club, especially outside Germany. This move, though, could show a new side of the club, making it look more attractive for the neutral fans. I mean, a gif of Alaba and Ribery dabbing is objectively awesome.
