Porzingis and adidas: a multimillionaire marriage
The Latvian became the most payed european player by any sport brand
October 26th, 2016
Kristaps Porzingis has just become not only the frontman of this brand new New York Knicks, but also the most rewarded European player by a sportswear brand in the history of the NBA. With Melo trying to save his career with a championship (or at least an appearance in the NBA finals) and D-Rose struggling to return to his old self, Porzingis has become the icon of the Knickerbockers.
This brand new deal with adidas is worth $3 million to $6 million annually and will make Porzingis the most paid European player in the history of the association. Nike, his former endorser, decided not to match the offer made by adidas, losing one of the most intriguing young players in the NBA.
The future is brighter than ever.

His brand new adidas sneakers couldn’t help the Latvian in tonight's loss against the NBA Champions Cleveland Cavaliers, but at least they’ll help him become one of the most iconic players in the NBA.
