The 1979 crest returns on Lazio's jersey
Released to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the club's founding
January 9th, 2025
To celebrate the 125th anniversary of its foundation, Lazio has chosen to reintroduce a commemorative kit featuring the club's crest first launched in 1979. The club's logo, a stylized eagle with large wings at the height of the heart, appears on the left side along with the iconic Mizuno logo, both in blue. The shirt is enhanced with a geometric graphic created using the embossing technique, reflecting the aesthetic of Lazio's Home and Away kits for the 2024/25 season, and lateral shoulder bands in three shades of blue.
The three colors are repeated on the sleeve cuffs, while the backneck features the inscription 9 gennaio 1900, a date etched in the minds and hearts of all Lazio fans, alongside a specific location, Piazza della Libertà: from there, 125 years ago, Lazio's story began. The kit is completed with navy blue shorts featuring the Mizuno logo in white and white socks with the three colored bands. Goalkeepers Ivan Provedel and Chrīstos Mandas will wear a sky-blue shirt with three shades of blue bands, while the details—club crest, Mizuno logo, and the "9 gennaio 1900" inscription—are in white. The drop is completed by the walk-out jacket, an item that players will wear as an anthem jacket during their entrance on the pitch in the home game against Como Friday, Jan. 10.
