Torpedo Kattenburg first home kit made by Copa
Teaming up with designer Angelo Trofa, the brand realized the first jersey for the Amsterdam-based collective
July 24th, 2017
There’s a neighborhood in Amsterdam, called Kattenburg, where two gentlemen found a football pitch in an old navy complex. Martijn Wuite and Lucien Burm have immediately felt in love with the pitch, deciding to make it the home ground for their new team - founded for that purpose - the Torpedo Kattenburg. And even if the team have to find its players and play its first game yet, the enthusiasm in the neighborhood of the capitol has been overwhelming.
For that, Torpedo Kattenburg teamed up with Copa and Angelo Trofa - which lately also worked on the “Tigre Coreano” kit - to realize the first home kit of the Amsterdam-based team. A jersey that recalls in every way the navy heritage of the club, as proved by the colors, the team’s crest, and the wave pattern of the shirt. Torpedo Kattenburg’s first home kit is already available on copafootball.com.
