Jordan Brand's "Future of Flight" collection

Today with have plenty of time to talk about the All-Star Game, as the NBA announced last night the choices of the two captains and presented the uniforms for the game in LA. But the interesting things aren’t over, as Jordan Brand announced the release of the “Future of Flight” collection, that comprehends sportswear and sneakers. Let’s have a look.

Air Jordan III “Black Cement”

This sneaker was originally worn by Michael Jordan during the 1988 All-Star Game. Now, the Air Jordan III “Black Cement” is ready to come back with OG design, including the “Nike Air” branding on the heel.

Air Jordan III “White Cement” NRG

During the Slam Dunk Contest back in 1988, His Airness tried to rewrite the laws of physics, starting the dunk jump at the free throw line. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the fact, Jordan is launching the “White Cement” NRG in its original design, with the minor addition of a red line on the sole, representing the line where Jordan started his jump.

Air Jordan III Tinker

Jordan celebrates the 30th anniversary of the sneaker designed by Tinker Hatfield, with an Air Jordan III model inspired by the original sketch.

Air Jordan III Flyknit

It’s a debut for the Air Jordan III, that for the first time combines its classic design with one of the most innovative techs ever made by the Swoosh, the Nike Flyknit.

City of Flight collection

Keeping the white and black tones of the All-Star Game uniforms, Jordan adds a bit of LA swag, with a collection inspired by the typography of the road signs in the City of Angels.

Jordan Women’s

Nike sub-division also unveiled a trilogy of sneakers dedicated to female ballers: The Air Jordan I Hi Zip, Air Jordan I Season of Her and Women’s Air Jordan XII.

Making the most of Russell Westbrook’s presence in his hometown Los Angeles, Jordan launches a new colorway for the MVP’s signature shoe, inspired by the map of the Californian city. The upper features a representation of LA map, other than “LA” and “RW” writings, respectively on the left and right tongue.

Air Jordan XXXII

Finally, another model inspired by the famous dunk made by Michael Jordan in 1988. This “Free Throw Line” model of the Air Jordan XXXII is an homage to the “White Cement” worn by MJ, with an upper that features an irregular pattern. The best thing, though, is the “3:51” writing on the translucent sole, remembering the moment when Jordan’s amazing jump was immortalized.
