This time, tough, Prinz Poldi met our hunger for… Football boots. Former Bayern and Arsenal striker, in fact, has just received a peculiar pair of adidas X 17+ with custom graphics inspired by popular manga and anime Captain Tsubasa, known in Italy as Holly e Benji.

The shoe comes from adidas Football’s Dust Storm pack and is entirely customized with drawings from the manga created by Yoichi Takahashi. The pics have been shared by Podolski on his Instagram profile, where he also confirmed how Captain Tsubasa has been a huge inspiration for him and how it drove him to chase his dream of becoming a football player.
