The new New Balance jersey for Baiteze FC designed by NivelCrack
"East meets West"
September 27th, 2021
New Balance and Baiteze FC have teamed up with Korean design studio NivelCrack to launch a limited edition 'East meets West' collection for the 2021/22 season. The capsule officially marks the renewal of the contract between the Boston-based brand and the London-based team, with a contamination of styles guaranteed by the Korean creators. The jerseys combine motifs featuring an English lion and a Korean tiger, reflecting the style of the East meeting the style of the West. The collection has ten pieces, but the flagship item is the football shirt customised with Baiteze's corporate colours (blue and orange with a few touches of black) and a design that echoes the camouflage and camouflage seen in recent waves of kit. The logo of the English team and the New Balance logo complete the style of the jersey.
In addition to the jersey, NB produced a jacket, a bucket, a t-shirt, a hat, a hoodie and sweatpants. The aim of the collection is to communicate the creative unity that unites the world, particularly the world of football. London and Seoul come together, two capitals of design and style that also dialogue from a sporting point of view "to push their limits beyond the boundaries" as Baiteze FC director Ebenezer Gyamerah recalled. A language that becomes universal through football, while the style of two different and almost opposite worlds come together to create new horizons.
