Why all Süper Lig clubs changed their sponsors this weekend

If you happened to be tuning in to one of the many Turkish Süper Lig teams this weekend while zapping on your sofa, you might have noticed that every team had the same sponsor. No, no super sponsor has secured the Süper Lig on an interim basis, at the behest of the league itself all Turkish teams have replaced their sponsors this weekend making way for Turkovac, the Turkish vaccine against Covid-19. An initiative created to raise awareness and encourage through football that small part of the population that has not yet been vaccinated.  

Despite the fact that the vaccination campaign is more or less well under way, the League has decided to give space to the vaccine produced and developed in Turkey in order to silence all criticism of the lack of transparency. According to institutional sources, Turkovac has been declared 100% effective, but the doubts of many citizens remain despite the reassurances.
